Boulder opals are created over millennia, when microscopic silica flows through water, and this with the water gets trapped in layers of sedimentary rock. You can basically think of it as ancient, crystallized water. Although on the contrary, opal does not have a crystalline structure, which is also why it is so soft. The "play of colors" is scales how irresistibly captivating these gems are.
This gem shows us what we're putting out into the world, either amplifying our positivity and optimism, or leading us to see for ourselves where adjustments can be made.
Boulder Opals are tougher than most, but proper care is still recommended. Most opals are a 3 on the Moh's scale of hardness, but due to the boulder matrix of Australian opals, this gives boulder opals a hardness of 7 which is the durability of turquoise.

Smokey Quartz is a mystical variety of quartz that is rather common but stunning nonetheless. Simply put, it gets its color from traces of aluminum while the crystal grows over time.
As quartz is said to be the most powerful of all healing crystals, smokey quartz is up there with it, but instead of being a universal energetic cleanser and amplifier, smokey quartz absorbs negative energy so you keep along your merry way, stress-free!
