Ethiopian Opals are pure crystallized water that formed over millennia, from silica particles getting into tight spaces where water is and in a way, forming a gel from the water and eventually turning into a rock-like material. That said, this is a stunning mineraloid that does not have a crystalline structure, which is why it requires the most care out of any precious gem.
Opal is a mirror to our energy—gently reflecting what we send out into the world. It can amplify our optimism and light, or guide us inward to recognize where gentle shifts may be needed. Symbolizing hope and creativity, this gem becomes a powerful companion during times of emotional exhaustion or uncertainty. Even in life’s heaviest moments, opal reminds us that there is always a thread of divine guidance weaving through it all. The universe is constantly aligning us with where we’re meant to be—it’s up to us to notice, and to move with grace through the ebb

Ruby is a stone of love, protection and abundance. It is a gem that's associated with the root chakra, which grounds and stabilizes us, while also rejuvinating our soul with the divine forces of the Earth.
A precious gemstone that is in the same family as sapphire - Corundum, with the only difference being the presence of chromium in ruby, rather than trace amounts of titanium or nickel in sapphire. This presence of chromium in ruby is unique because it also is what makes all rubies glow under UV light. It is peculiar, however, that chromium doesn't always give gems this effect, and is specific to rubies.
