Typically, Citrine is a relatively rare variety of iron included quartz, although it can still be found in various locations worldwide. When it is this sunshine yellow color to more of a sweet honey color, you can be there's a good chance it's natural. Be careful with purchasing citrine, however, because a lot of darker colors seen on the market are heat treated natural citrine or amethyst.
