Astrophyllite is a very rare brown to gold hydrous potassium iron titanium silicate mineral that only comes from a few places in the world. Originally discovered on Laven Island, Norway in 1854, but has since been found in various locations around the world, including Russia, Canada, Greenland, and Colorado (US).

It gets its name from the Greek translation of "star leaf" and has inspired beholders for decades. It's maybe no coincidence that its name resembles its metaphysical properties, as it promotes an increase in psychic abilities while also keeping you grounded. Astrophyllite can open and clear all energy centers in the body, although its primary chakra is up for debate. This stone has the ability to open up your root, throat, third eye, and crown depending on who you ask or what needs work within your body as you wear and work with it. On a physical level, this stone has been utilized for hormonal balance and can even dispel EMF radiation.
